Why not just commit to eating healthier?
We’ve tried that and found that we don’t have the self-discipline to say no to Topper’s cheesy bread on our own. I need the tough love that the Whole30 is famous for. I know strict guidelines will yield better results than subjectively trying to tell myself to “just eat healthier”.
As I mentioned here we didn’t eat a ton of junk food on a regular basis. Our diet was healthy-ish, and we ate lots of vegetables. Again, it was good but not great.
Also my general lack of patience coupled with my “second best time to plant a tree is now” mentality makes the Whole30 pretty ideal for me. It’s a great head start to lifelong changes.
